Labour Day and the weather is perfect for go karting

Went to stc at around 4, had a few laps after that. First few laps are routine ones where we warm up the tires and brakes a lil. After that, business starts.

So it was sunny, track and tires were warm enough, the first Fastest lap i managed to pull off was under the 1 min mark...quite an achievement for me!

After doing a few good laps, i went back to the pits and took a rest..arms were totally numb and tired. Really do have to fight hard to maintain control of the kart in the corners. Took a look at the gauge and it reads 59.74 for the first fastest and 50.70 for the fastest for the first session, by the standard of the veterans it is way off their mark.

But for me, any time under 1 min is very satisfying..and then off for another session, got a push from my uncle and i'm off. The first lap was a another warm up one, getting myself set for the track, with the numb and tired arms. Upon exiting the last corner heading for the start/finish straight, i sped up revving the kart from 7-9 in the rpm scale(couldn't really remember the reading..it gets scary to even blink in that turn). During the turn in from the 1st to 2nd corner, i could feel myself gliding through the corners gracefully with the right amount of wheelspin and steering(in other words drifting).

Exiting the corner to the big 3rd round turn, jamming hard on the throttle and making minute adjustments with the brakes..and i could feel this will be an even better lap. Getting done with the lap, i glanced down on the gauge and it reads 58.++ secs, i was thrilled, Motivated by it, i start to get better and better. On the 3rd lap, i finally managed to do 57.77 with the rpm reading 14.58..quite an achievement really. Cheering on my own on the kart, doing swift corners i started noticed the front plate was loose and started to have a bad feeling.

As i exited the turn leading to the longest straight, i once again went above 1300 rpm and when i started to brake and brace the for the hairpin turn, i heard some strange noise. Turning into the corner, the tail end brakes loose and the kart literally drags itself to a standstill and with the engine revving even without my foot on the throttle really scared me..fearing the engine block would explode right beside me. I looked down and turned the pins on the carburator as taught, to cut the oil supply to the engine, only then i got out of the kart. Walking around it, i could see the brakes smoking, chain guard's out of place, chain's some where else and that was when i knew what had happened.

My uncle walking towards me with a smile knowing what went wrong in the back of his palms, told me that i had braked too much, locking the wheels and breaking the chain.

My heart was pumping hard that time..first experience of such scariness in my life, first fearing the engine would explode beside me and now fearing what would it take to make everything well and running again..

Labour day is a day to chill and enjoyed..no doubt that i enjoyed but not for my uncle..felt sorry but such accidents do occur in the world of motorsport..If none of it occurs, its just too good to be true..sorry to say that nothing is perfect..

Lapping in the track

It has been about 2 weeks since i have last driven in the track..getting in the car is a routine until when i'm driving it. Yap zai's kart is a powerful thing...the first kart i've driven this year.

Today was a bit special, Sylvester and his bro was there too..joining and slowly lapping a few rounds.

So there i go rolling in his kart, tyres were still cold, have to do some warm up laps and trying to get use to the kart. After a few warm-up laps, its time to jam the throttle.

I was having quite a hard time getting used to the kart..went well on the straights. But behaves strangely in low speed corners. And as i was entering the corner, the backside tends to break lose and I really have to fight hard to regain control of the thing..sadly when exiting the last corner heading to the start/finish line, the kart spun. After the uncles and i got it rolling again, i set for a few more laps and figured its time to end with that kart..

Then, to my uncle's new kart...as usual, first few rounds is sort of practice session..where u get used to the car, feel the throttle and brakes. Tyres are new and it runs good as any new slicks does. It gets in the corner as u wanted it to and exits nicely without a hitch.

A few laps in, i spun hard and ending up next to the tyres on the side of the road. As i was exiting that corner, the back end threw out, counter steered and jam the throttle trying to get it back straight but failed...i would have wrecked the new thing if it wasn't for the tyres stopping me..and fortunately that i was wearing a helmet!

The sky was getting dark and i reckon would be time to end my session, handing it to Sylvester then his bro. His bro was new and just rolls slowly...reminds me of myself years ago..haha!.

Finally muet has finished and all over!.
Quite a bored, tiring and slow day.
Looking forward to head to the track..just hope to receive that call.
If not, probably going to the range...register and hopefully shoot some arrows..

Cure of sickness

When i get sick, forget about the doctors and medications....

The solution lies in mile 6....head in to STC and to the go kart circuit...
get seated in the kart and do a few few fast laps in it and all ur sickness will be gone(based on personal experience).

Although this is not proven by any professor of any university, this has been experiences First Hand by Dr. Chang V.H

Sandakan Court house

6th of April was the day we went to the Mahkamah Sandakan. It started off early...went to school and left school at 7 something. After we reach there, we have to wait till 8 then we are brought in and walk around.

As we walk in, the lobby opens up to the center court yard. Small tress and flowers everywhere, not what you would have expected from the exterior. LCD screens on the wall to display current cases trials and the schedule for the day.

Then we are brought in the registration offices of the Mahkamah Majistret and Sesyen, library and the court room itself. We were also brought down to the lockup area. Who would thought of a dungeon under the court aye.....not me..thats for sure. Descriptions of it don't give people a picture of it, if u have the chance, pay a visit to the place...u will enjoy it

The library is really nice...seeing the books really make me just wanna stay and look over them. The court room itself is quite a nice place..looking something like that in the picture above(i never took any pictures there...so don't go sueing me for doing so).

And today is a Thursday....Friday is coming tomorrow,,,then Saturday and Sunday comes after that....Gotto get down on Friday!..hahah

Its saturday and its so bored...a usual day of relaxing and nothing much going on. Woke at 10 plus...went out and bought food, ate and now sitting in front of the lappy.

Times like this make me think back of the past happy events. There is a song i remembered..that we used to play in the band, Ten Words-Joe Satriani, and even though its the easiest song for drumming, but thats one of the most relaxing one to play..

Listening to that make me think of the things i've done during form4-5
Times we had together growing up
Time spent together practising
And when we were in pri 6
Crazy shit we do...
Good times.

DOGS

Dogs anyone?...this here is one of my favourite Breed..Doberman Pinscher.

Forget about the small cuddly ones...this is the real deal. The thing about big dogs for me is that they are fun. The sensation of being pulled by a big dog is sort of exciting..

I have been wanting this creature for a long time..longing to have one but is never achieved...and now i'm already 19 years of age. Keeping one now is not a thing to do. There is just now enough time for anything..tonnes of undone work and tireless days...man..
Hopefully my wish will come true in the future

Rottweilers are the kind of dogs u won't want to mess with. Mess with one and u meet hell..
I do remember way back when i was still a toddler, my grandmother once had a dog like that....sadly the dog died. And since then, i have never seen a pretty one like that.. For u ppl who own one out there...ur a lucky bastard...love ur beast before u lose the chance...

Mind raper

Chemistry test had passed yesterday...the coming one is physics...trying to read and know what to do is like raping your brain and mind. Our brain is designed to do a lot of things often doing well when we are willing to do so. But when something is done reluctantly, it felt like its being raped...strange but true at least for me.

Terms, words and formulas are being forcefully stuffed into my memory,
thinking of ways to get the right thought,
channeling the energy to what we do,
regurgitating everything we learnt,
all when the brain is hibernating,
With your eyes open.

One week had passed with ease i can say. I keep complaining that ''the weeks to come won't be easy'', but some how i managed them. I guess that is how i live, keep myself alive...

Holiday2

3 days passed since the week started...it was gloomy all the way. But Top Gear save the rest of my holidays..no doubt that it made my day and i'm sort of inspired by Them(the 3 presenters).

I seriously hadn't had that much laughter for some while and this feel that it is going to be good. Thinking maybe i will get some essays written tomorrow...hopefully the sandman won't pay me a visit as i start writing..hmph...

And gosh it has been a long time since i last done some stupid shit with my mates..

That is all i can think of..brain is full of TG and some other stuff...so yeah..see ya

Holiday

Today is the first day of holidays...was such an unproductive day, spent most of my day in front of the lappy. But miraculously, i flipped through some pages of my physics...although not much but is an achievement i reckon. And finally i washed the Proton Wira i drive after weeks if not Month of dust, rain and mud...and it felt really cool washing it. Not thinking of anything, just letting the thoughts run free, enjoying and savoring every moment of it..literally. But now, back to what i do best...Youtube. See ya

Hello

Once again i am back in this world

Balin

On the 15th of December,me, kesh, wendy wong, dennis, sabrina, seck, elliot, wesley, fiona, daniel, bren and PENNY went to Balin and celebrated my borthday in advance...the first time celebrating birthday with friends for me. When Penny told me to go to Balin, i hesitated cause feeling kinda lazy but then at last i still went thre. Thanks to Wesley sending me to and fro from hse to Balin. When in Balin, i thought it was just another outing whre we all hand out, talk crap, laugh and pics and stuff..never expected the guys and girls are gona celebrate my 17th bday for me..it was an advance party..really really din expect that and surprised me. The place was actually not bad..the first time i go to Balin(say till like sanba lao). And like usual, we have a few drinks..after a few drinks, i changed and looked like Guan Gong like JAson Kwan says...kinda real. So the place was nice, cake was nice, people were nice, and drinks were the best. The best drink have to be the Cream Lemony Fruit Carlsberg.....and luckily i don't get diarrhoea. After that, we went to kesh's hse and chilled a while played a few rounds of COD and around 1++a.m we went home. Seck was half past dead in the car. So that was pretty much all bout the things happened....pics are at penny's place..facebook and blog i guess.. See u all and Thank u all..

SPM

12 days more to SPM my men and women....

School

Its school tomorrow. 1 week of holiday flew away just like that. What have i done during the holidays?...Games, online, youtubing and drama. Thats what i did. Reading?...yeah..total time is less than 10 minutes but al least i went to some tuition and studied there and yes it is not enough. Its time to get serious as after this week the trial exam will start and worse, i just recieved the news and just remembered that we are having physics test tomorrow..test for radioactivity i guess.. I have been sleeping early during the holidays..as early as 1++ or 2++ and i think a lot of ppl also sleep near these times, waking up at 10 or so and its just enjoying as hell. But starting from tomorrow, i will have to wake up at 5, leave at 6smth, go to school, go to tuition and all the other boring routine. The time i get to use the computer will be a lot less than usual and drumming will be no longer than half an hour. Hmph..quite annoying when thinking bout it.. Lets forget bout that and like Bren says in her pm ''Keep your head up, Keep your faith and be strong''. YEAH!

Drifting

Thre was a drifting show on the 20 and 21 of September in the Go-cart track, STC in Sandakan. My bro and i went only on the second day. The time was nearing 3 and we reach thre around 5 minutes later after we left at 3. After we reach and got off the car and walked into that place, thre were cars lining up 1 by 1 in the track. Thre were Levins, classic Ae86, some Gl, a black toyota..forgotten the name and also nissan s13. Those cars were sick and some only have the looks but not really the gut to drift. Thre was also a Blue skyline we normally see without GT wing and with a black carbon fibre hood if im not wring, with a pro driver from somewhre giving us a good show. Wonder what techniques they use.....

In youtube, there is a video named ''A complete guide to drifting'' by The Drift Bible. It says ''If drifting is your religion and Keichii Tsuchiya is your god''. I think this is true...Tsuchiya is just legendary...watching his videos just makes me feel like taking up racing driving in the future instead of being a tuner or some sort myself. 1 thing is for sure that my parents and family will not support me on this.Letsbriefly about the techniques taught by the dift king himself in the video. Thre are 6 techniques all together :
1. Side Brakes(Hand brakes)
2. Shift Lock
3. Power Over
4. Braking
5. Feint
6. Accelerator Off

Watching those videos yourself may give you more knowledge than me talking here. Something are just better to watch it yourself than hearing one saying it. Thre will be a few cameras all around thre car, one will be around the footpedal, one will be in the middle, and some will be around the foot pedal place, some around outside the car and in sectors of the track.

Wonder which techniques do the drifters in here uses. Thre was 1 man dressed in full racing suit and with a cap, driving and drifting the skyline all around the track, the best drift i've seen that day. The tires were burning all the way and then after the second or third lap, the man drove the car on the opposite direction until when he reaches a corner and his tired burst..haha..That bloody tyre may cause more than some of ur tyres and rim combined. The black car also had a flat tyre and it took ages to change 1. My bro and i went back after the skyline is parking on the pit of the track cause it was getting late and thought that there will be no more drifting in that blue car. Sylvester and his brother stayed till the end and the Skyline drifted one more time and then also had a flat tyre one again.

Hmph..from that day on, im my mind is just drifting and drumming all the way..In Youtube, im just typing these words all the time..Top Gear and Touge...and of course some other drumming videos...as i want to get better..hehe.

Now, i am watching touge showdown, MAX(for cars with 500 hp and above)...its just so fantastic to watch it with a cup of beer in hand and something to munch on..HAHAHA. I am writing this now because thre was the Hachiroku Tsuchiya was drifting in and it reminded me to write about it. and i screw some of the words up thre...hope u all understand what im trying to say...
I think its enough for me today and sorry for talking so long...hehe..gotto get going and finish up the videos. See u real soon!

My Way

When i was watching the Fight Masters, my dad started to set up stuffs to sing. When the first song played, it was My Way(chinese version). I didn't know at first but the tune feels familiar..in no time i am singing along. Then my dad told me it was My Way. Listening to that song reminds me of the time my band and i played the song in front of the whole school. Saxophone played by daniel was just perfect but squeecked a bit..still remember that but all was a complete success. Everyone was cheering and it feels great. Now, as i search in youtube, thres a lot of versions of My Way, it don't matter if its from Frank Sinatra or Robbie Williams or anyone else, The song is still legendary and still as nice as always. Just feels very relaxing when listening to that song. And now after that, BACK TO METALLL..hahahaha

1.19 a.m 19. 09. 09

So im now sitting in front of the monitor, lookin at the time 1.19 a.m thought would be a nice time to write something new here. So, i Went out had dinner, played cal of duty wit the m8s and went drinking in devenice. Nice food, nice game, nice drink. When i came back, sat down on the chair in front of the monitor and started youtubing and facebooking. Added some friends, sent some comments and looked at some pictures. Van Canto, a band whre they make music wit their mouths..is a cool band and should be checked out by all the people. So as Nightwish. They are a Finnish symphonic metal band, very melodic, metallish and also some viking style. The first song i heard from them is called wayfarer. I found that in a video review of a Toyota Celica in Youtube....Youtube really bring me places i never ventured and thats the good thing about it.

Warface, Nightwish, Van Canto, Miles Davis, Dream Theatre, Slipknot, Amon Amarth and Lamb Of God...these are some names i recommend for u music lovers out thre.

Now the time is 1.28 a.m and i think i should go to sleep..Goodnight to all frends and also to frends i just knew. Take care.

Quartet Music Festival

This matter have been running in my head since the beginning of the year when they told me thres this competition. Until last saturday, the day had came, all our practises throughout the year paid off..even though we just got the second place, still im happy enough. The best show i've put up since i first start playing. The highlight of our show i think is the song whre seck sings. Thats the first time hes been in a competition and Thats the first time we are getting so much response. Thank u all !

Before this, we have been breaking our brains thinking of ways to put a song together no matter instrumental or the singing 1. Suddenly i wana break free came into the heads of some 1 then we decided to play that and add something interesting in it. For the instrumental, we take songs and combine it together. Everything went perfectly during practise. During the competition, the shaft of the double pedal i used came off and i have to play using 1 pedal, changing the song a bit but still we gave a good show to the audiences. The place was full...luckily and we got lots of Support...Thank u again. When we are going into the second song, i took off my shirt, then start playing again. That was the thing i din regret doing as i was sweating like a horse for some good reason !, then putting the pedal back together and start playing. The pedals were good for the whole second song, but screwed the first song quite a bit.

Then thre was the simple short solo, quite gan ziong when doing that, din really plan to extend it that long. During our practises, it was all short and simple...but added some spices to it when its our turn. I feel very good after doing that, saying to myself that was the best show ever so as to the band.

Now that everything is over, we have to start studying as SPM is just right around the corner. Eventhough its just few months away but the few months can close in fast. Be prepared my friends...Study well and Score well

Just an update after a long long long time of laziness...zz

Recently, i have been watching a lot of top gear and car stuf in utube...making me feeling very very deeply addicted more than ever. As i found out in some of the videos, i found out that Toyota Supra is not in the production line anymore which is a total waste..that car has inline 6 cyl. engine and it packs quite a lot of power even its still unmoded...so want to have one in my garage one day.

''Icons Of Power'' the tv show that talks about powers of kings and rulers of european country and others. Now i just feel like buying books about the biographies of past rulers after watching them talk about Peter the RUssian Tsar and King Henry VIII....its beyond imagination when u are the most powerful force aroung others and a lot can be done jz by speaking it out loud...WOOOH..

And last night was the LEO Installation dinner. EVery1 was so so quiet..so disciplined..tonnes of hot sizzling girls, and taken lots of pics..nt bad though i look..HEHE. Since my gastric came back on tuesday, my stomach just feels like its constricting every 30 mins..which i think it made a hole on my stomach wall. Sylvester said if thres really a hole, i won't be sitting beside him yesterday and i guess its correct. Dinner was ok but can't eat much cause of the ulcer i have under the tongue. Ivy took pics all around and keep on insisting my smiling in the pics...zz..which turns out to be quite nice. The whole thing was kinda ok but some bad things happen to some other ppl la..quite embarrasing..too bad. Band, dance, sing, all was ok. The girls can really sing..nice. Till here for now. Gona be writing soon again. TATA

Careers?....any1???pls comment

hey yo ppl..Its me updating and writing something here after about a month..
Feels like i've been very lazy to write.
Jz think of a man losing his job, depressing...thats a bit close to what im feeling now.but im not depressing jz being lazy..kakak..
THres been a lot happening these days, which make me even more want to own myself a sniper rifle, becoming a pilot, and also becoming 1 automobile enginner?.....thanks to the movie shooter and the sniper..What i think is being a sniper is a very cool thing. One's life is depending on the moment u press the trigger of the gun or not..If u missd, u will be killd and if it hits, u will become a hero of a kind and also maybe a killer?..who gives a damn.
In this world, there are a lot of ppl that want to kill some other ppl. they just can't do that and the consequence of killing is going to prison or get killed. Thres jz these options. Think of a sniper, u can kill without getting spotted..if ur unlucky to give up ur position, so its byeybe to u. Thats what bad about becoming a sniper..

Becoming a pilot, i have been wanting to fly a plane. Flying a plane, watching a plane taking off is quite a reaxing thing for me to look at. One can get to diff places and try new thing..see new faces. Its fun of course to fly a big bird over the rainbow. Seeing other planes first hand is also my dream. What if 1 day the plane crashes?..i will maybe die and bye bye to me forever.

But what about becoming an automobile engineer?...At least i can get close to cars..the second fav thing in my mind..becoming an engineer i can get to lots of nice or even imported cars that few had chances to see..seeing cars first hand, nt from internet or books are also my dream...this is mind bugging. Even though i dun have to fly in the air, risking my life for every journey i take, it may be nt as fun as this job here. Think of this...What if 1 day when i am driving a car, something went wrong and i die..its the same thing and thres js risk everywhre i go. Making choices are hard when u are still uncertain..so hopefully i can make up my mind.
